If I missed the answer to this in my web searching, please feel free to
point me to the correct article...

Is there a (software) way to adjust the position of the CDE screen in
Solaris 8? I saw pretty much this exact question with no answer posted on
an old site - like that poster, I'm using a single monitor on a KVM with a
couple different machines that need to run at the same resolution and
refresh rate, so adjusting my screen on one box makes it wrong for the
other. For an Linux-based X server, I might do something like running
xvidtune and copying the settings I like into the right config file. Is
there a similar file for the X server running on Solaris 8? m64config was
very helpful in getting my resolution and color depth correct, but I didn't
see anything there about adjusting the screen position itself.

thanks!
