I don't think this is good idea. Solaris versions are jus like one...
if you'd try to create such groups, you should even go to news.groups and
look at it how newsgroups are created.

There both the same once the systems are up and running, but most
of the Solaris x86 questions are about getting a system up or figuring
out why Solaris x86 keeps crashing. All hardware/software install
problems.
And as far as Solaris version being just like one, I agree. One version
is supported (Sparc) and the other one isn't (x86) and PPC looks like
it's been killed off.

Because PowerPC has failed to gain broad market acceptance, the next
major release of Solaris (2.6) will not support it.

And on the supject of the extra newgroup, how about a solaris.setup or
similar? Seperate the install and the operation?
