This may be a stupid question, but I've tried to find the answer with no
luck...

Is there a list out there anywhere specifically naming all patches for
Solaris 2.5.1 necessary for full Year 2000 compliance. The patch reports
mention a few in the titles, but this doesn't look like a cumulative list.

Thanks for your help,
Don H.

Go to www.sun.com, look at the 2.5.1 patch report, search for "2000" and
you will find it there. The patches are free for Solaris 2.5 and 2.5.1,
while 2.6 is y2k compliant right out of the box. You have to call
SunService to purchase the SunOS 4.1.4 patches.

Or so Sun's y2k web page still claims, despite the availability of
several y2k patches for 2.6 (cron, auditreduce, admintool). (Of course,
the cron bug isn't really a y2k-specific bug, but that's what they
called it.)

Hi,
you can subscribe to "SunSolve" . If you do so, you receive the CD's
containing all the patches.
They are divided into groups and a patch rapport is included.
Or you can download then from the Sun website
