It seems since upgrading to SCO UNIX 3.2 v 5.0.5 whenever a uucp
attempt fails we are prevented from immediately re-uucping the file.
We receive this error:

retry time (2400) not reached

Is there a way I can re-set this retry time value to something lower or
better yet can I turn this off?

I am aware that I can remove the file /usr/spool/uucp/.Status/node
(where node is the actual system name I was attempting to connect with)
and then re-submit the job but this is cumbersome.

Thanks in advance.
