Found two problems that manifest when /usr/tmp is missing

Just experienced the following on my test system and did not
know the cause:
Running hw > /tmp/logme gets the standard error message:
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
ERROR: Unable to create temporary cdev: No such file or directory
But otherwise, hw produces the expected output.
(Well not really, the output shows:
CPU 1 performs like a 2656Mhz Intel Xeon
Processor: 1 (0xffffe)

type: 0

on a two processor system with hyper threading enabled with SCO
5.0.7 with SMP license and MP5 installed)
The second problem was custom failed to run creating the following
/tmp/tclerror.1193.log
# cat /tmp/tclerror.1193.log

couldn't create error file for command: No such file or directory

I found that /usr/tmp was missing. Once I recreated /usr/tmp the hw and custom
commands were happy.
