Hi,

My custom.log file is becoming very very big (2GB). Now i can't run
custom anymore ..
what i did is just renaming custom.log and recreating this one, but i'm
afraid doing this could lead to break something else in my system (i'm
just installing this system, so for now i can break what i want :)

anyone know if i can delete this file.. or do you know how to reduce the
log size?

Thanks in Advance.

Stop running the custom verification out of root's crontab every Sunday
morning, that's what made your file too big.

You probably want to keep the beginning of the file, it has your history
of installations and patches. You won't be able to load the file in vi,
probably, because of its size. SO use the 'split command' to get rid of
most of the file.
