Anyone know of a site/web page that has a guide to setting up a sco
openserver 5 machine as a DHCP server

I would recommend not using it. I have a 506 server and after having
numerous problems with it, I loaded a desktop with RedHat 7.1 to run a
DHCP server.

The server would not properly assign IP's to Win2000 clients, it would
continuously disable IP's in the pool and was just a plain headache.

You didn't mention which release of OSR 5 you have.
Starting with 5.0.5, scoadmin has wizards for configuring a DHCP server.

Personally (having used it) I would not reccommend the dhcp server from SCO,
the one from ISC is far superior (more flexible, does dynamic dns updates,
etc, etc, etc). See www.isc.org for details.
