We are on SCO Openserver 5.0.5 on HP Netserver LH3 with Raid 5.
The following volumes are mounted on the server
/
/stand
/backup
/recycle
/oracle
/isap_app
/focus
/sales_acc
/others

We are not able to mount the volume isap_db.
When we give the command

# fsck /dev/isap_db

/dev/isap_db
HTFS File System: isap_d Voulme: isap_d

NO PARTIAL TRANSACTIONS PENDING
#

Please suggest what has to be done. While rebooting when the
system tries
to mount this file system it gives the message, no space left on the
device, but the same message does not appear when we run fsck.

Regards
Thanks.

HI,
fsck -ofull /dev/isap_db
It did'nt generated any error messages and it did'nt showed any
inconsistencies.

When I mount the filesystem in readonly mode it gets mounted.

I do have space available on the disk but it is still showing NO SPACE
LEFT ON THE DISK WHILE REBOOTING

Please Tell What Should I Do.

THanks.

When you mount the filesystem read-only, how much free space does it
show? Maybe the filesystem is in fact full.

Why would a full filesystem block mounting? Well, normally during mount
of an HTFS filesystem, a file /.ilog0000 is created. It takes up about
10K. Of course, normally that file already exists. But maybe it was
destroyed by whatever caused this problem in the first place.

Also, on OSR506 and later, a 32K file named /.slog0000 is created. Your
subject line says it's 505, but maybe you were wrong.

If read-only mount works and shows less than 42K free, what do you do
about it? Try mounting with "-o nolog":

mount -o nolog /dev/isap_db /isap_db

Then free up some space by deleting files. Then unmount and remount it,
see if it's more cooperative...

After mounting this filesystem read-only, type in: df -v
and post the results.
