hi,
I have to work with quite a few groups here programming stuff. Is
there any editor that can let me and some one else edit the same buffer
at the same time???

Assuming you're using a character-graphics editor such as emacs or vi,
you can do this with "Kibitz". The only obvious restriction is that
both people must be using the same terminal type.
Kibitz comes with the Expect distribution as an example. You can read
more about Expect in the comp.unix.questions FAQ. It should run on
any system that runs UNIX.
