I can use streamripper as an audio server to stream audio from external sources
over my local network: $ man streamripper
<snip>
-r [base port]
Create a relay server on base port, defaults to port 8000 <snip>
-R num_conn
Maximum connections to relay stream <snip>
If <num_conn> is set to 0, the number of connections is limited only
by your processor and network speed.

Is there any way to connect (say) Clementine on my local machine to streamripper?
Can Gstreamer do that? Clementine's Tools=>Prefs=>Playback allows me to specify
all sorts of "Gstreamer audio engines", whatever they are. I suspect I already
have tools here for a network radio station, if I can just connect them.

Thanks for any help you linux audio experts can give.
