Looking for
Position: PeopleSoft System Administrator
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6 months
Experience administering PeopleSoft systems including installation, configuration, monitoring and performance tuning. Able to maintain production and test environments by migrating code, executing database refreshes and applying application security. Must have demonstrated hands-on upgrade experience using Change Assistant.
Top Three Technical Skills/Experience:
* 3 to 5 years administering PeopleSoft systems including installation, configuration, monitoring and performance tuning.
* 3 to 5 years maintaining production and test environments by migrating code, executing database refreshes and applying application security.
* 2 to 3 years of demonstrated hands-on upgrade experience using Change Assistant.
Required Skills:
* 3 to 5 years administering PeopleSoft systems including installation, configuration, monitoring and performance tuning.
* 3 to 5 years maintaining production and test environments by migrating code, executing database refreshes and applying application security.
* 3 to 5 years of hands-on upgrade experience using Change Assistant.
* 3 to 5 years applying maintenance packs, bundles and patches.
* Support experience with PeopleTools 8.5x or higher.
* Support experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1 or higher and/or PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 or higher.
* Support of PeopleSoft on Oracle database version 10g or 11g.
* 3 to 5 years administering, troubleshooting and monitoring batch scheduling utilities.
* 3 to 5 years in performance tuning of web server, app server and Process Scheduler.
* Ample experience opening Support Requests (SRs) with Oracle's online support.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Preferred Experience:
* The ability to download and install VirtualBox and PeopleSoft Images (PI).
* Experience using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) to apply application fixes.
* Previous support experience on PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.54.
Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
Master's Degree is not required but preferred
