newsreader needed

hello.
can anybody suggest me , please, a handy newsreader
(graphic or not) for unix? (i'm
on digital unix i.e. osf)

very appreciated features would be
the possibility of posting a message to more than one newsgroup
the possibility of posting a message to (at least) one newsgroup
directly from the command line ( assuming that the message is contained
in an already edited text file)
the possibility of subscribing and unsuscribing trees of newsgroup
(for example: subscribe comp.* and then unsubscribe comp.windows.* )
instead of single newsgropus one by one .

or the possibility of listing among all the newsgroups,
those that match a pattern ( something like *.unix.* )

the possibility of list all the newsgroup.
surely this is a silly request, but
i can't figure how to do it with pine :-)

Try slrn. See http://space.mit.edu/~/davis/slrn.html for more
information as well as some GIF images of the newsreader. You can
also pick it up via ftp from ftp://space.mit.edu/pub/davis/slrn/.

Well, if you've got emacs, go for GNUS! Everything you ever wanted in
a newsreader, *and* it's got EMACS functionality!
And now that I'm done my little commercial, I'll tell you that it
really is great. I switched from tin to GNUS, and it's a lot cooler. I
may take a little while to learn the keys, though. But that's what
makes it fun! :D
