Pointers to C portability

I need to gather some timely info on "how-to" portable C programming
and/or C standards with an emphasis on language issues (not so much
system call interfaces etc.). I already have the POSIX standards.

[My background is with respect to compiler design for other languages
than C that need to work with C code.]

Does anyone know of/keep lists of books/documents on
this?
