Controlling LC_COLLATE under sort.exe

Where can I find sort.exe that I can control its LC_COLLATE's value
under windows environment ?
I searched gnu and Berekely utilities but with no use !!

IIRC LC_COLLATE isn't fully implemented in cygwin.

Could any body answer my question about specifying LC_COLLATE under
windows environment using amy way ???????????????

My original assumption was, like yours, that the OP was using the normal
(note: I did not use the emotional-trigger word "standard" here) Windows
shell, since the syntax he gave is appropriate for that shell. In that
case, you would be correct in assuming (and pointing out, if you are so
inclined) that he is posting in the wrong group. I alluded to this
possibility in my earlier post.

However, now that I look at some of his later posts, I have to admit the
possibility (alluded to by Janis) that the OP *is* posting in the right
group and that he *is* (unfortunately for him) trying to use CMD.EXE syntax
in a Unix-y shell.

In which case, he needs to be instructed on the syntax used in the various
Unix-y shells...
