Love the site. Are you sure his name is Donald McDonald?
No wonder he turned out such a schizoid wanker, with such cruel parents.

Better yet, they could've called him Ronald.

Ooops, I just wet myself.

longer, The 2nd half of it refers to a news story about a large anchor

Hmm. This Don guy appears to be for the death penalty. Now there is
a site attempting to ridicule him. That's a pretty sure sign that his
position is threatening to the other side of the argument - an
indication that those opposed to the death penalty feel his arguments
have merit. Guess I'll need to start reading this guys posts.

Thanx for the info.

The site appeared pretty even-handed, actually. It let Don dig his own
hole.

I doubt that. If his arguments for the death penalty are anything
like his arguments against "LINUX" [sic] and FreeBSD, they are not
grounded in anything approaching reality, are repetitive, and never
change even in the face of conflicting evidence.

YMMV.

Probably because sometimes it's fun to get a beer, lie back in your

the clueless. Think of it as whack-a-mole for the electronic age.

Then why build a web site for him? Where I come from, we ignore any
real 'fools' with an opposing view, and save our venom for those who
legitimately threaten our argument. It's human nature, isn't it?

No quickpoll for the worst Don K. statement? This site needs more work.
Good start though :-)

Obviously you've hit the nail on the head, Steve.

Hope this helps,
Don

This would appear to presume a pretty low level of intelligence on the
part of 'newcommers'. Are only 'regulars' capable of rational
analysis of an argument? A valid argument speaks for itself. Put out
the argument and let people decide. Rhetorical, I know. But I've
been lurking here on and off for 3 years, and have yet to see a valid
argument from either side. Name-calling? Insults? Threats?
Ad-hominem attacks? Yo-mama jokes? Yeah.

You really want to 'help others' (and let's assume this doesn't mean
- 'to see My side of it'), then make an argument. When a premise is
shown to be weak, or false, have the intellectual courage to admit it
- and try to strengthen the 'validity' of the argument, not wimp out
and defend by offending. You wouldn't know it from newsgroups, but in
the grand history of this precious planet, some arguments have
actually been settled!

The Gauntlet once again is thrown - I challenge this NG to present a
valid, syllogistic argument defending their position. Major premises,
minor premises, conclusion. Let Reason prevail.

In a.a.d-p we are currently "boycotting" Don's posts, by not responding to any
of them. It hasn't had any effect on his posts, but it saves bandwidth, as
there are no more of the futile attempts at discussions with him, in which he
simply repeats the same (often ignorant, always abusive and insulting) message
many times until the other person gives up or gets bored.

There was a post here a few years ago pointing out
that Kool was the most killfiled poster in Usenet history.
No way to prove it, but it does rather make sense.
