Hi folks, don't know if text mode browsers are much
in vogue these days, nevertheless I've a site that's
optimized for 80x25 terminals here:

<http://busybox.hypermart.net/index.html>

I've an RSS feed as well:

<http://busybox.hypermart.net/rss.xml>

On this end, we're using both lynx & w3m for html,
& snownews for rss. All renders as expected.

Perhaps some remember, I'd had a similar site in place before
a curve ball side tracked my time online. The site itself is
certainly nothing 'highfalutin', simply a modest few pages
chronicling my scripting [mis]adventures... New content now
& again as time allows. Swing by if so compelled.

Appreciate it.

Very nice, will keep an eye on it. I have been
looking for useful text sites for a while.

Hi John, nice to meet you & thanks for the kind words.
Hope to have more up in the coming weeks, have some
nifty ideas brewing (or at least I think so).

Are you going to be doing web bloging. or is it merely a place to dump your scripts and so on?

Hi Pat.

Err... you know, I haven't really thought about it :/

Honestly, I just throw stuff up as the mood strikes.
I guess my thinking is that I enjoy reading & sharing
ideas with others. That probably sounds silly but its
an honest answer.

What would you do?

I put up stuff that can be political or not. I just use it as sort of a ranting place for my ideas and annoyance can be put up. Don't care who reads it or sees it and or how much traffic it gets. None of that bothers me. Mainly just so my thoughts are logged and people can maybe see my line of thought process in the future and not be completely surprised. I was trying to stay anonymous for a long time. But then people don't understand you well enough.

Yeah, its probably best to put your name on your
work I'm sure we'd all agree.

I also started making my own operating system from scratch. So I can learn how the kernel works.

I'm trying my best to keep learning. Doesn't always work though.

Well, lets see... What's your strategy Pat? What I'm asking is:

. have you written down your goals?

. do you spend 'x' time reading material to get there?

. allow time to unwind/rewind?

Failure is no crime (that's how we learn) But not trying?

Now that's a crime...
