I installed both ssh1 and ssh2 (in that order) on 4.2-RELEASE, but
only logging in through ssh2 works. I think something on bootup says
cant find ssh-keygen or something similar. Can someone tell me how to
fix this?

Thanks,
Larry

SSH (OpenSSH) comes built into the base system for 4.2, so you didn't
need to install it separately. OpenSSH supports both versions of the
SSH protocol.

As far as the specific message; you *do* need a host key. See the
manual page for ssh-keygen(1).
