This is only a minor update. I manually applied the patches that
accompanied the 1.14.2 binary, used the same procedure mentioned in
that README, and built this. JimJag had noted back in Sep 1996 that
those patches would work, but as far as I could tell nobody had ever
bothered to distribute the updated binary. So now someone has.

There is a May 2003 reference in this group about bash 2 building,
so I want to try that next. If anyone reading has already done this,
please let us know.
