Yes you can, no problem. What I do here is add the following command
to /etc/rc.net (at the bottom):
/usr/sbin/no -o ipforwarding=0
to see everything that's set you can use the command:
no -a

Use the no command with the following syntax:
no -o ipforwarding=0
