multiple copies to print using qprt command

We have a couple of printers attached with serial cables to our AIX 5L
system. One printer is network capable so I have prepared a queue for
TCP/IP printing. The queue works but every time a print job is
submitted with -N copies, only one copy is sent to the printer. I use
the "lpr" command and the same thing, only one copy is sent.

What am I missing? Why is the -N parameter ignored by qprt?
