Only if it is Itanium. Aix Version 5L

Sure. Either AIX 1.x for x86 machines or AIX 5L for Itanium on IA64...

I knew about 5L and the itanium.

I like the thought of AIX for x86.

Is there any possible source to get AIX 1.x for x86 machines?

Why bother? The last update was almost 10 years ago, and even
then it was nothing like AIX 3.2. Linux is going to be so
much closer now.
