I have a striped lv in a Volume Group and there are 12 hard disks on
it.
I would like to increase the file system by adding one more disk to it
. SO is it possible to do it
online without recreating the lv.Any other better options for this

I've asked IBM repeatedly why we can't have concatenated stripes of
varying stripe width... still haven't received a good answer....
they'll probably put in a change request... but until then, you're
better off using a real OS with a real volume manager. Solaris with
disksuite!
My question was specific to the File system whether it needs to be
recreated again to have the additional disk . Or is it that i just need
to add one disk and extend the vg ?
