I don't have a portable tape drive and I want to back up my AIX 3.2.5 workstations. I'd like to have a set of
mksysb tapes so I can fix a completely fried (and fixed) machine and I'd like to keep incremental backups with the
backup command, but the man pages don't seem to mention doing anything remotely (except rrestore). there's no
rbackup and both mksysb and backup gag on <hostname>:/dev/devname. Am I overlooking a feature?

I was thinking of mounting all my filesystems to the backup computer, but that's kind of gross, and won't work on
mksysb..anyway please do send me advice or..if you know it's a hopeless situation let me know too..then I'll
try harder to get a portable tape drive...though I don't think I can get the workstations moved closer
to me...sigh.
