Guys
Can an enhanced concurrent mode VG , present on a AIX 5.2/HACMP 5.2 be
imported into an AIX 5.3 node ( which does not have any HACMP
instlled)?
Or hacmp is mandatory for importing an enhanced concurrent mode volume
groups?
Any ideas?

yes it can. think of it as enhanced-concurrent _capable_.
to vary it on in ec-mode however, the concurrent lvm which comes with
hacmp must be running.
varyon in standard mode will be fine without hacmp.
