I want to use the 7x10 font. xterm gives me no complaints, but aixterm does:
% aixterm
1363-011 aixterm: Cannot use font
-ibm--medium-r-medium--14-0-100-100-c-70-ibm-special.
The size of this font is not the same as the normal font.
Does aixterm have its own app-defaults resource file? Does it only use XTerm
resources? How do I map the PageUp/PageDown keys to scroll the window, like I
can do with xterm?
As for fonts, when I startx (when I login on an Xstation), some of the fonts
are not loaded and default to some horrible standard font. My digital xclock
font is not what I specify it to be in my .Xresources when I startup, sometimes
my Netscape program goes to some horrible font... How do I tell which fonts are
loaded and/or available ?
So many questions...
cheers,

Aixterm "intelligently" determines what bold and italic fonts to use
from the normal font if none is specified. If the bold font turns out
to be a different size then you get your observed warning. Try
setting boldFontSet to 7x10bold if such a font exists. If not then
7x10 should work but bold text may not be distinguishable.
If xterm cannot get a proper bold font it will overstrike the normal
one. Aixterm has no such feature.
