Due to a AIX FIX (IY13158) to update the bos.rte.aio we have severe
problems with the performance of the Oracle listener. This fix
installed some other prerequisites filesets that we think that are
causing the problem. Unfourtunately we have commited this FIX and now
we want to remove it !!!
We've rollback all the prerequisites filesets (using the force option,
installing the base fileset) but we cannot do the same with the
bos.rte.aio 4.3.3.27. It seems that the base fileset is 4.3.0.0 and we
cannot find it. Anybody knows where can I find this base fileset that
seems to be disappered ???????? I will be very grateful is somebody
can send me this fileset.
Thanks in advanced.

Since it's an RTE fileset, I doubt the base level fileset will do you
any good. You generally can't force on an earlier level of bos.rte
filesets. As far as being missing, you probably have it in a bos image
that includes multiple filesets.
Do you have a backup of the system taken before you applied the service?
Restoring it is probably your best bet.

A lot of oracle vs. AIO problems are fixed in the latest levels of AIO.
#1 - You should also make sure that you install the latest versions of
bos.rte.libc, bos.net.tcp.client and bos.up/bos.mp.
#2 - When installing PTF's in a production machine, always apply them
(instead of commit). That way you can just reject them, reboot and go
back to the original level.
#3 - If you put the DB on raw LV's instead of files, you don't need aio.
(not 100% sure about this one :-)

The base level of bos.rte.aio is in the AIX 4.3.3 cdrom's.
