Hi,

the subject is complete. More specifically, it should
work on AIX 4.x and ideally provide :

- tape management
- use of native system tools (tar, dump,...)
- automatic backup check
- results sent with mail
- easy install & config

Any pointer ?

Charles

The Amanda (Advanced Maryland Automatic Netword Disk Archiver) package does
all this. You can get it at ftp.cs.umd.edu in the /pub/amanda directory.
Version 2.3.0 is available but still under development. 2.2.6 is the latest
stable version available.
