Resetting a Canon to factory default settings is a sound solution to the dreaded B200 error message that plagues some Canon owners. This method works to reset Canon Pixma MX922 printer as well as other Canon printer models.

3. Test to make sure the process worked. Go through the menu options on the screen and see if your old settings have been replaced and your address books have been cleared. If this is the case, your Ricoh copier has been reset to factory defaults.

Before you start off with the process to Reset Samsung Printer To Factory Defaults, make sure that the pending tasks in the print queue have been erased or stopped. Every pending work will be deleted once the Samsung printer is reset to the factory settings.

If you are still having issues with your Smart Hub, you can perform a factory reset. When you do this, all Smart Hub settings will revert to their factory defaults and all information related to Samsung accounts, linked service accounts, Smart Hub service agreements, and Smart Hub apps will be deleted.

Hi Dunkelheit, did you set your own pin originally? if not the default is 0000, but if you changed it then another matter. I also have that smart remote but also a standard one , think easier to reset with the standard one . You could try with a Samsung remote app on mobile though and use standard instruction of ,Mute>8>2>4>Power Reset Pin some info for Smart Remote here though -pin-code-samsung-smart-tv/ To change pin go General settings-System Manager on more modern models.

i've also installed the samsung printer manager on my windows 10 operating system and reset the network settings that way, but same result, invalid user/pass when trying to log into the syncthru web interface.

All my computers with Windows 7 stopped printing all of a sudden and was showing printer offline in Print status, I was able to ping my printer but was not able to print. I have tired reinstalling the driver but it shows that the printer is not found on the network. I was only able to print from Windows XP Computer in my network. Hence I have followed the reset procedure and was able to successfully see the printer in my Windows 7. But after reset all my YMCK Cartridges which were working fine before reset is showing "TONER CARTRIDGE IS NOT COMPATIBLE. PLEASE CHECK USER GUIDE" I am using genuine toner cartridges from Samsung. Please help me to solve this issue I would be grateful to you.

You will sometimes encounter a situation where your printer's counter is not reset when you change the cartridge. If this is the case, and your printer is a Samsung SCX4216then the steps you need to take are as follows:

Im still having a hard time with my wf4830 pro US version. Its impossible. I got a chip resetter physical and it did not work. Is there anyone who has successfully converted a wf4830 pro US to a sublimation printer? I have been looking for months now, please contact me if you have or know someone who has thank you in advance!

The Sawgrass SG500 is a fine sublimation printer, Duane, but resetting the chips can be a challenge. This video shows a user having success by replacing the chip on his SG500 cartridges. Check it out!

Hi Rob, Firstly thank you so very much for such an informative write up, its very well written, will plenty of detail. I own the epson 440 and my search for resetting the cartridges led me here to your website. You mentioned their are 3rd party chip resetting firmware/programs available, some of them being free, do you have any suggestions on where im able to download one. Most ive come across are free, but will lock you out of the printer without buying an activation code.

According to Primera, you should go to the control panel on your LX500 and select Printers and Faxes.
Select your printer and click on Printing Preferences. You can choose Clean/Change Cartridges, Check Ink Levels, or Ink Levels and Cartridge Maintenance under preferences. Any of these choices should reset your Primera LX500 cartridges.
Click the Change button.
Choose which cartridges you are changing, black or color.
Best of luck, Muz!

How can I reset a Brother LC404 ink cartridge for a Brother J1205W printer? I doesnt seem to have a reset button on the cartridge, and I cannot find a cartridge resetter available online. I am very frustrated with this as I bought the printer because it was advertised with the Inkvestement Tanks which I thought were refillable. Great information in your site here. Thanks

I have Kyocera 3155DN printers that I just bought from UK. They use different power in the US but I have a transformer that takes care of that issue. However the toner the UK printer uses is TK-3190 and the toner the US version uses is TK-3182. Will a reset chip allow me to use the TK-3182 in the UK printer?

When it comes to stubborn troubleshooting issues, running a hard reset is the easiest solution. A hard reset will restore your Samsung Printer to your factory settings. Once your printer is returned to factory settings, your printer will be back to the settings that it had when you first took it out of the box.

Once your printer starts again, you will have to reset all of your settings, including passwords, connections, and WiFi. While a factory reset erases your saved information, this is a good way to solve many issues facing your printer.

The resetting of your Samsung printer effectively removes the assigned IP for the unit. The resetting process for the printers varies depending on the make and model in, and it is important to check out the specific details to your model before beginning. However, the reset process generally involves disconnecting the network cable from your printer, which can be set to the factory settings. If you are faced by any problems like paper jam or anything else it will be very helpful to reset the printer.

One of the simplest ways to reset your Samsung printer is to turn the printer off by pushing the power button in until the LED light turns off. You must be sure that the printer is off before proceeding. Now remove the power cord from the back of the printer and leave the printer unplugged for at least five to 10 minutes. Then plug the printer backs in. Finally press and hold the stop button for two to three seconds until the demo page begins to print

This is just my opinion but I would expect to have better driver support on the stable, hardened Ubuntu 16.04 LTS platform versus something else. I had similar issues trying to get HP wireless printers to work in my Ubuntu environment and resolving those issues took a lot of Internet research. A good place for you to start is -to-get-install-samsung-ml-2165w-printer-scanner-drivers-for-ubuntu-16-04-xenial-lts-linux/

Keep in mind that by after resetting your printer in error state you need to reconnect and setup your printer connecting to your network again or remove the cartridge / toner / drum and put it back again.

If you are using a Mac computer, you can still configure the printer to use color or black and white as you wish. You can do this through the printing dialog menu and save the settings as "preset" to use later on.

Once you've selected the correct color setting and made any other changes you wish, you can save your settings. To do so, click the "Presets" dropdown menu and click "Save Current Settings as Preset." Give your new preset settings option a name so you can find it later on and choose whether you want it to apply to any printer connected to your computer or just the current one. Click "OK."

When your Samsung CLP-300 is not responding properly, or needs reconfiguration, you can reset the printer to clear any errors or configuration settings. The power reset clears the settings on the system board.

If you're using model number 39449871, then resetting leaves auto-connect enabled, although you need to pair your devices again. On older models, you have to re-connect the printer manually or re-enable auto-connect after you've paired the printer with your iPad.

Is there a button combination to reset a Samsung expresspost M3320ND. The manual does not mention any that i can find but im wondering if someone more experienced knows how to reset the network settings without being able to login to the printer?
