mailbox fail, pls help

I can't receive my email, when i get my email from the
unix shell, it says 'the folder is corrupted', i
have contacted my ISP, but noone answers me. Can
anybody pls help? Thanks for your attn.

It's possible your ISP ran out of disk space while trying to append a
message to your mailbox. To correct the problem, delete all messages in
your mailbox. (Yes, ALL!) Then, vi /var/spool/mail/<your login> and
delete all remaining garbage. This will give you a clean mailbox that
the mailsystem can handle. If messages in your mailbox are important,
you can copy your mailbox into your home directory, then go through the
above process.
