Whilst testing my new Unix box with my 50 plus terminals I have come across
the following situation.

If I plug in the correct RJ45 to RS232 converter (deals with the pinout
changes for the new Specialix RTA) all is well but if I use an old
connector, used on the old Unix system which had different pinouts - the RTA
becomes unusable, the port monitor is running but no login appears - I have
to reboot the whole system.

Is there a cure for this 'feedback' from the old connector - all info and
help appreciated - please e-mail direct.
