I¨m in desperate need of FTP-sites for a hp-ux 9.03 that I'm
supervising. A deep well of sourcecode for my standard
C-compiler would do.
Please....

If you check out HP's home page at www.hp.com you'll find
a number of ftp sites for hp-ux.

Good luck,
Terry

Note that many distributed packages may require an ANSI C compiler,
which is an optional product under HP-UX; the compiler which does
kernel rebuilds is a no-frills K&R which may not work for some
packages. There is version of the GNU C compiler available at
ftp sites listed in the FAQ (see below).

The Liverpool HP-UX ftp archive, which is mirrored at the above U.S.
site, is also mirrored in France, Germany, and Italy, all of which
may be more effective than a transatlantic site (requestor in Sweden).
The Liverpool archive *assumes* the ANSI C compiler, not the K&R.

hpux.csc.liv.ac.uk is the "home" site; the mirrors and other sites are
listed in the FAQ, which can be found via:
