let me see if I understand this...

you need help with UNIX, yet you are able to determine how knowledgeable
someone is?...interesting :-)

Aaaaah...sort of like:

*** The How Knowlegeable You Seem Test. Please E your A back to M ***

1) Okay, lets say I have a new Unix server, and I need to connect a PC to it,
but I can't seem to get Windows to see the Unix server. In your own
words, describe what the different problems might be, and include
solutions. Try not to be too technical. Assume you are giving
instructions to someone that doesn't know much about computers but knows
how to manipulate computer people.

2) How do I^H^H^H^Hwould a user delete a file named "-myfile"?

3) Assume you have a Unix system in which you forgot the root password.
Your boss is mad as hell at you, and when you post the question on
the internet, people just give you silly answers and laugh at your
"@aol.com" address. Is there any way to get back in as root?

4) A user has downloaded a file called "juggs.jpg.gz". They are, er,
quarterly stock reports for a local, um, milk company. And this
user needs to know what utility to use to make this file viewable.
