Could anyone recommend a package that tracks webserver availability and
response time. We are running about 5 Web Servers that need to be monitored on
a per application basis. There are about 30 secure applications to be
monitored. I am looking for something that will actually pull a page from each
of the applications at a set interval and graph availability and response time.
The product must support SSL and it must be able to respond to a challenge for
an ID and password.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Mmhh, have a look at the BigBrother. You can define the timeout until a
response shall come in, it is free and you should be able to customize it
the way you see it fit.

You can try www.OpenSysMon.com
It has open interfaces to your current tools.
It can be customized and scheduled.
It provides alerts.
It's cheap.
