It appears that with the exception of "/dev/ksyms is not a 32-bit
kernel namelist" (anyone know what that means or how to fix if
necessary) it appears that gated is ready to run but when I do ./gated
as above I get a core dump and it shuts down. What am I doing wrong?
The second problem I am having is getting the gated-3-6.tar.gz that I
downloaded from Nexthop to compile on my workstation, I would rather
have the full public version as I would like to use gdc and
ospf_monitor. Does anyone have precompiled version of gated public for
Solaris 2.7 that I can get from you?
Thanks in advance,
Patrick

Solaris7 has a 64-bit kernel. your gated executable is a 32-bit
executable and is expecting a 32-bit kernel. you may boot Solaris7 in
32-bit kernel mode or this is just a guess use Sun's latest compiler
(not GNU) to build gated with the 64-bit option passed to Sun's
compiler. some defines might be required too.
good luck.
