ECCS satellite meeting 'Unravelling and controlling discrete dynamical systems'

Dear colleague,

In September 2011 the first satellite meeting 'Unravelling and
controlling discrete dynamical systems' (http://
www.disdysys.ugent.be), which will focus on the characterization of
discrete dynamical systems by means dynamics grasping measures, such
as

* Dimensions
* Entropies
* Lyapunov exponents

and the control of a wide variety of discrete dynamical systems, is
organized. In particular, submissions on

* Cellular automata
* Coupled-map lattices
* Graph automata
* Maps
* Networks
* Substitution systems
* Turing machines

are encouraged. This satellite meeting is organized during the 2011
European Conference on Complex Systems (ECCS), which holds as one of
the most important annual events in complex science and is organized
this year in the beautiful city of Vienna, September 12-16.
