Hello!

I am searching for the string to insert a "correspond symbol" (math bib.)
into my latex document. It's an equal-symbol with a circumflex over it. Does
anyone know, if this symbol exists in latex? I've seen several tables with
latex-math-symbols but I didn't find it.

Thanks,

Andreas

And it might be more sensible to ask on de.comp.text.tex for
questions that concern specifically German typesetting conventions.
After consulting its FAQ, of course.

The marvosym package contains a \Corresponds macro that sounds like it's what
you're looking for. See the Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List (available from
CTAN) for font samples.
