pstoedit
I tried pstoedit -f svg-plot file.eps file.svg, but that did not work well.
The greek letters were omitted and the non-greek letter did overlap.

Try it again, and grab a CVS build. Inkscape hasn't crashed on me yet, and
there are very few crash reports on the mailing lists.

If you want to send the EPS file you tried pstoedit with to me, I'll
gladly run it through our ps2vector software to convert it to SVG.
Hopefully, it'll do a better job. Our SVG output is known to work well
with Inkscape.
