Hello TeX-community,

I have the Linux port of LaTeX2e with AMS-extensions.
In math mode I need the character-set offered with \mathfrak and \mathbb as
well. First time I tried this, it ended up in errors, because \mathfrak and
\mathbb aren't defined in my whole TeX-system altough the LaTeX-companion
describe those those in the math-section.
However, I got the yfrak-set and defined a new \mathfrak by myself, but I am
still looking for the \mathbb font.
Has someone a good idea for me or an explanation for the missing \mathfrak and
\mathbb ?

Beste Gruesse,
Lars

You need to \usepackage{amsfonts}.
The file amsfonts.sty may be a little difficult to locate;
it is probably in .../ams/amsfonts/latex .

Do you mean that the .tfm files are not there, or that there is an undefined
command error message?

The following file should work:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{amsfonts}
\begin{document}
$\mathfrak{K}\mathbb{K}$
\end{document}

Post the .log file if it doesn't.
