Dear all

I use makebst to create my own bst file and I use a (author (year)) form
for citations. How can I define different forms for the citation in the
text as the chicago package does this, like \citeN for authoer (year) or a
\citeNP without brackets?

Thanks and best regards, W. Bauer

Using natbib could work.
