When I run bibtex I got the following error message. My .bib file
has only one title in it:
@inproceedings{Ples64,
AUTHOR = IA Pless,
TITLE = PEPR,
BOOKTITLE = Proceedings of the International Conference on
High Energy Physics,
ADDRESS = Dubna,
PAGES = 409,
YEAR = 1964}
Please let me know if any of you had the similar problem and how
to fix it.
Many thanks in advance:

Try to put your names and titles in double quotes.
@inproceedings{Ples64,
AUTHOR = "IA Pless",
TITLE = "PEPR",
BOOKTITLE = "Proceedings of the International Conference on
High Energy Physics",
ADDRESS = "Dubna",
PAGES = 409,
YEAR = 1964}
That may be your problem. I don't think bibtex can parse your first entry
because it can't read the strings.
Hope this helps,
Glenn.
