So far I have used \bibliographystyle{apacite}, where
cites as

(see Jones et al., 1990)

seem to be impossible. Natbib seems to be the solution,
however the bibliography is not really what I like
(starts with abbreviated first names: A. Jones instead of Jones, A ....)

I would like to keep the bibliography style of apacite
e.g. Jones, A., (1990). Useless information. J. Appl. Nonsense, 1,
7-10.

but also I would like to use the better citation style of natbib.

Is there a solution out there ?

I have tried both together but they seem to loath each other,
cause apacite uses "undefined sequences" like \BCAY
in the .bbl file.

Use natbib together with custom-bib.
