My program creates a PDF file, and it's not coming out quite like we
want. Is there a Windows program that graphically displays the
contents of the PDF file - and I'm talking about the PDF internal
objects and commands, not a standard PDF viewer like Adobe Reader.

Thanks!

pdftron CosEdit (http://www.pdftron.com/pdfcosedit/index.html). I
remember (it was a long time ago…) the free (trial?) version allowed
viewing the PDF structure, but not changing it.

Enfocus Browser (http://www.enfocus.com/product.php?id=4530). Maybe
not 100% ‘graphical’ (i.e. it does not display the structure as a
tree, although it is a GUI application), but allows to view/ navigate/
modify the internal structure of the PDF.

I’m sure there are others too, you may search sites like planetpdf.com.

If you have Acrobat, PDF CanOpener (plugin for Acrobat, not
standalone) provides COS level tree view for analysis and manipulation
of the internal object structure, plus many other features for low
level PDF handling. (http://www.windjack.com/products/
pdfcanopener.html )
Disclosure: PDF CanOpener is developed by my company WindJack
Solutions, Inc

Hope this helps,
