My Acrobat 5 can yello-highlight text (with the Hightlight Tool) --
but then I would like to print the PDF pages and see the highlight
markings -- in gray on my black-and-white laser printer..
But printing the pages with Highlighted text just prints the pages
alone, as if there is no highlighting there.
Is there a work-around so that I can print the highlights on the
page ?

The "Print" dialog is different from each version of Acrobat/Reader to
another version -- but usually there ist a checkbox "[x] print comments"
or a pulldown menu with a "document _and_ comments" option or something
similar to that. ("Highlighting" is considered being a "comment" in a
PDF document.)

My e-mail account at DECUS Munich is no longer valid.
One small problem: it is printing grey dashed lines around the words
that I highlighted. I would prefer a darker highlight (it would be
easier to see)-- like a gray highlight marker that colors the complete
rectangle around the word. ... But this dashed line surrounding the
word is still usable enough.
Thanks again ... RW
