I am running Interleaf 6.2 under Windows XP Home. I had no problems
re-installing it. Did you run the diagnostic from Microsoft about
compatibility
issues on your installed software before you installed XP? I had to do a
total
re-install 6.2 after installing XP. Are you getting any messages when
trying
to open your document? Many of my drivers and a fair amount of my software
had to be reinstalled. However, the Microsoft diagnostic alerted me before
hand as to those programs and drivers that were not compatible. A little
more information on your prior setup would be helpful. What OS were you
running previously? Does the desktop show up properly when you open
Interleaf? Most of what Interleaf does are controlled by links to other
directories/files. You may have a disconnect between what you see on
your desktop and where you are being linked to. Does this problem occur
on all documents?

Regards...Bob

i will try what you suggest. yes, my desktop shows up like always.
can see all my documents folders books, etc. but when i try to open a
document, i get the error message. what is really strange is i can
convert my document into a .rtf file.
this is really going to be a problem for us. all our technical
instructions (27 GB) are in interleaf. and everyone is upgrading to
windows XP. thanks for your help.
