Hello,
I'm looking for documentation, maintenance / service manual etc for an
old Visual 200 dumb terminal (made by Videodata in early 80s), which I
have just acquired in nice but non-working condition.
Thanks!
J.

Are you sure of the manufacturer? All the "Visual nnn" terminal
information I have is for products from Visual Technologies.

Apparently the V200 is their first model: <http://www.z80.info/z80vdt.htm>

Some manuals are online, but not for the V200:

I have checked the plate again and it states: "Visual, See for yourself,
Tewksbury, MA". Anyway, it's this guy here:

It has a Z80 CPU (by Mostek), 4K of static RAM (2x Toshiba TMM2016P-2),
and two EPROM chips (these might be erased, I'm afraid:-( ).

Regards,
J.

The manufacturer name is typically on a metal plate on the rear of the
unit, not on the keyboard. The plate will also typically provide a
model number and a serial number. The plate saying "Videodata Terminal"
on the keyboard is most likely just part of the product name.

This is almost certainly a Visual Technologies product.
