Last September I posted "Is anyone interested in an unopened Quattro
Pro 4.0 for DOS" announcement, and a William Walsh of Farmer City, IL
(w...@walshcomptech.com" said he'd like to have it. We agreed on a
price of $5 plus shipping; the total came to $9.17, I shipped, and he
received it. But I never received a payment. When I asked (all
transactions were via email) he said he had sent a check -- but I
never got one. After a long wait, he said he'd send another -- but
I've never received that one, either.

I'm not out much, but it's the principle of the thing.
Maybe his company should be "welsh" computing technology?
