Visit http://www.xdss.com/p and search (for example) for item
721P83050 ($74) the 4635 PDL/DJDE Reference Manual.
DJDEs (Dynamic Job Descriptor Entries) are commands to the printer
which are embedded in the datastream. The prefix for these commands
is specified in the Job Source Language (JSL) file which is compiled
by the PDL compiler to produce a JDL file.
The JSL IDEN statement declares the prefix to be used and optionally
(using OPRINFO=YES) will print the DJDEs that are received to the
sample tray.
You can write a special JSL that will print only those lines that meet
a specific criterion (runing offline) using the RSELECT statement. You
could use this to print the DJDE statements on their own.
DJDEs are Dynamic JDEs which are inserted in the printstream
programatically. You can see the DJDEs by putting the printer in 'dump mode'
