Camera HUD

Hello
I just got an old video camera, and would like to convert the eyepiece into a
HUD for a wearable computer. Has anyone here done that? I could use some
pointers or links to information.

Let me restate that, now that I know slightly more about what I actually have.
I disassembled an old video camera and removed the electronics from the
viewfinder portion. I now have the CRT; a larger PCB (about 2-1/2" by 1") with
wires going to the other parts; and a very small PCB with two LEDs on it, which
is connected by two wires to the larger board. This was all contained in the
pivoting viewfinder casing. Coming from the larger board are four wires,
which plugged into the main camera assembly. I would like to use the
viewfinder as a HMD; what kind of converters and adaptors would I need to do
it?
