There is a Java implementation, but I have no idea how that would run under
MCP. We don't have J-processors on our systems, so I'm especially unclear
on how that would work.
One option might be to write the data to a SAN Data Mover transfer volume,
and let another system (with an NDM install) perform the actual file
transfer.
Has anyone here in MCP land worked with NDM?
Thanks.

Apologies for the delay, but I should probably hold my hand up and say
"Yes"...
We had a similar requirement in the early days of iPSL to interface with
Connect:Direct, and as you say, found no MCP client. We therefore wrote
something called FTS (File Transfer System) to control and manage the
movement of files to a Windows server (where there is a client) using
NX/Services. I now support this product. It is probably a little too
application specific for your needs; but I'm happy to talk via email if
you would like more info.
Cheers,
Barry.
