I use Google groups to keep up with this NG...
But it appears Google will no longer provide this service.
What are others of us using as news readers?

I, and, I think many others, use Eternal-September. But note that this
requires a separate news reader program (i.e. not just a web browser).
I use Thunderbird.

Same here, works fine. Eternal-September as the server and Thunderbird
for reading.

If all you want to do is read using a Web browser, then you can see what's happening here using the Newsgroup Archive, NARKIVE, to get there from here:

The nice thing about this is that the spam isn't archived and so doesn't show up.

NovaBBS also lets you see what's going on using a Web browser as well :

I *think* that the latter lets you post as well although you have to register to do so first.
I haven't tried this so I don't know for sure.

Some other groups I follow are on groups.io.

Works nice, but people may not like it for many reasons.

It does work after registration.
